For 127 years, Boys & Girls Aid of Portland have been helping Oregon's children. They find children permanent homes through adoption and provide temporary safe places to stay through shelters and foster homes.
The Lori Miller Scholarship Foundation was created in 2010 to honor our former Director of Sales here at the Portland Spirit who lost her battle with breast cancer. Lori had a passion for children and funds are used to assist students further their education goals.
Join us for an afternoon to help raise money for these two fantastic causes; great sights, great food and great live music. Portland's own Jacob Merlin Band will be performing on board.

The group's founding member, Jacob Merlin, is a Portland Native who learned to tickle the ivories at the wholesome age of four. Brought up on both classical and jazz standards, Jacob began to develop his music ability in composition, orchestration, and performance throughout his high school and college years. In 2000 Jacob moved to Nashville and immersed himself in the city's music scene. With a newfound confidence and experience, he returned to Portland to start a band of original funk and rock inspired music. He found a city teeming with local talent and ready for something new.
