The Christmas Ship Parade on the Columbia and Willamette Rivers in Portland, Oregon. The Christmas Ship Fleet cruises both rivers offering the Portland area a thrilling holiday light parade on the water. The Portland tradition that started with just one decorated boat and grew from there; it is a volunteer organization. The privately owned vessels come from Portland, Vancouver, McMinnville, Salem and Hood River areas. Some of the ships owners have been part of Christmas tradition for more than 30 years.
